Fire Safety Consultant

Our team of fire safety consultants are able to provide advice on all aspects of fire safety and are from extensive Fire and Rescue Service backgrounds with industry recognised qualifications. Our professional consultants will assess all areas of your premises to ensure compliance with the Fire Safety Order 2005, we are then able to provide a consultation on any significant findings and actions required to ensure that your premises compiles with current fire safety standards.

 

Fire Consultancy Service

We provide a full fire safety consultancy service to meet your premises specific requirements and to suit your budget! We have extensive experience in acting on behalf of clients when the premises have been served with a prohibition or enforcement notice under the Fire Safety Order 2005, to ensure that the premises is brought up to the fire safety standards required and that due diligence can be demonstrated, minimizing the likelihood of prosecution proceedings on the Responsible Person. In such cases our aim is to bring matters to a satisfactory solution with the minimum impact to the client.

 

Fire Risk Assessment as required by the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005

We will carry out a full and detailed inspection of your premises to identify whether or not you are in compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. We will produce a risk assessment in accordance with nationally recognised methodology produced in line with the fire safety order protocols detailing the hazards and risks within your premises together with a defects and detailed action plan to enable you to achieve compliance with the above order. We will explain in detail how those requirements can be met, provide additional verbal information as required and liaise with the Fire & Rescue Service on your behalf if you so desire.

We can also review existing risk assessments completed under the Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations 1997 as amended in the light of new guidance produced by the Department for Communities and Local Government.

 

Prospective purchaser fire safety property survey

As fire certificates previously issued by the Fire Service are no longer valid, the fire safety measures incorporated within a building are subject to the risk assessment process, should be suitable and sufficient and comply with current standards. This is the responsibility of the current occupier and may not have been met. It is important that you as the person acting for or, the purchaser are able to identify additional costs that might be incurred on the building being brought into use following completion.

With the written permission of the vendor we will complete a survey of the property. This will identify any major shortfalls in the provision of passive (fire separation, fire doors, compartmentation) and active (fire alarm systems, emergency lighting etc.) fire safety measures incorporated into the building and we will provide a written report

We can offer general fire and fire warden training tailored to your needs and premises to ensure your staff are adequately trained in any fire situation.
